Urgent care at Mission Health Group is designed for conditions that are not life-threatening but require prompt attention to prevent worsening. Patients can walk in without an appointment and be seen by a qualified healthcare provider. Our goal is to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits while offering a convenient, efficient option for common medical needs.
Urgent care providers evaluate and treat a wide range of issues, including colds, flu, sore throat, cough, and fever. We manage ear pain, sinus infections, and nasal congestion, as well as urinary tract infections. Minor cuts, scrapes, burns, sprains, strains, and simple fractures are treated on site. Patients with mild allergic reactions, rashes, nausea, vomiting, or dehydration can also receive care. Work and school medical clearance exams are available, along with rapid testing for flu, strep, COVID-19, and pregnancy.
If you experience severe chest pain, shortness of breath, uncontrolled bleeding, or any potentially life-threatening condition, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.
Patients may walk in or call ahead for check-in. Basic information is collected at the front desk. A licensed provider reviews your symptoms and medical history, performs an examination, and orders any necessary tests. Our CLIA-certified laboratory processes tests while you wait, allowing rapid results. Treatment may include medications, wound care, or other minor procedures performed on site. Before leaving, you will receive written instructions and, if needed, a referral for continued care.
Most visits take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the nature of the condition and any testing required.
The urgent care team works directly with our on-site laboratory to provide quick, reliable results. Common tests include strep and flu swabs, COVID-19 rapid testing, urinalysis, blood glucose checks, and basic blood panels such as CBC, metabolic, or lipid profiles. In most cases, results are available during the same visit, ensuring that treatment can begin immediately.
Mission Health Group offers straightforward self-pay pricing and will begin accepting insurance once credentialing is complete. Patients receive a Good Faith Estimate before any test or procedure. Payment is collected at the time of service. Typical costs include $125 for a provider visit, $20–$30 for rapid tests, and $25–$40 for standard lab panels.
All urgent care services are provided by licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants following standardized clinical and infection control procedures. The clinic also operates as a supervised training site for medical assistant and phlebotomy students completing their externship hours.
